Organic Objects: New to old

In this project I wanted to show aging in organic objects with both texturing and geometric differences. Therefore, I chose to use an array of organic objects with different changes. Please scroll down below for the breakdown.

Concept and references

For this project, the idea was to focus on organic objects in 2 different states. I wanted to make a fruit fondue/platter. 

Modeling and uving

After I finished gathering appropriate references, I went straight to modeling. After modeling all of the objects in the scene, I then proceeded to UVing the assets.

Texturing, Look Development, & Lighting

After I prepared all of the assets, I was ready to texture them. I created some texture samples using Photoshop and brought them into Substance Painter where I made all of the maps.With all of the maps done, I started plugging them into the shader in Maya. 

I then lit the whole scene and with the current shaders, made a turntable with the final lighting.
