Hex limit

I've joined SCAD Animation Studios as a Texture Artist for the short, race film Hex Limit. I worked on texturing the goblin character Snaxx, buildings & props, and clothes for the goblin crowd.

Programs: Maya, Photoshop, Substance Painter

Responsible for: Texturing some of the buildings, crowd goblins, and Snaxx

As a texture artist at Hex Limit, I had to texture stylistically according to concept art made by the art director and visual development artists on the team. It was a fun, collaborative process of interpreting the 2D concepts into 3D. 

Making texture samples

Before I start the texturing process, I made some texture samples on Photoshop that I could bring into Substance Painter. I painted some of the samples by hand.
